As long as creator credit is given in videos and/or video descriptions, we have no objections to any sort of fan-created playthrough and/or instructional videos. Furthermore, you are free to monetize your videos via the YouTube partner program and similar programs on other video sharing sites.
Fans are free to create fanworks such as art and works of fiction based on our stories provided they are not used for commercial purposes.

A note on Bitdefender: The antivirus software Bitdefender is known to occasionally cause issues with both Into the Breach and FTL. If you are using Bitdefender, please make sure your game can access to Bitdefender's "Safe Files" so it can create and update your save data.

If you are experiencing short sections of looping audio (sections of background music playing on repeat), you may be experiencing an issue with your audio drivers.
If you encounter this bug, please try updating your audio drivers. If the issue still persists after the updates, please try changing your power settings (in control panel) from "balanced mode" to "max performance".

FTL and Into the Breach do not collect, store, or otherwise use any of your personal data. Game progress (achievements and save files) is occasionally shared depending on which platform you play the games. If the platform is not listed, then it does not receive or store any data as far as we are aware.

Into the Breach on Mobile will be available exclusively for Netflix subscribers. As a subscriber, when you download the game on the Play Store or App Store you will be prompted to link your Netflix account. It will be released on the 19th of July for both Android and iOS.
The Mobile version of Into the Breach is available only to Netflix subscribers at this time.
The Advanced Edition update is free for all platforms (PC, Nintendo Switch, & mobile versions) that will be released on July 19th, 2022. If connected to the internet, the game should automatically update. If you purchased a DRM-Free version of the game, please re-download the game from the same store to access the new content.
Before starting a game, you can turn off all additional content when selecting a difficulty. However, some minor balance changes from the update applies to the original game content as well (weapon pricing, etc.)
Into the Breach is currently available on Windows, Mac, and the Nintendo Switch™.
It will definitely come to Linux, but we are also considering other platforms.
Currently Into the Breach is available on the Americas, Europe, and Australia/New Zealand eShop only.
We intend to bring Into the Breach to the Japan eShop eventually but do not have a release date at this time.
Unfortunately this is not possible for Into the Breach.
There appears to be an issue for some users when launching the game. We will fix it as soon as possible but you can fix the issue by restarting the system:

We currently do not have any plans to localize Into the Breach, nor are we looking for help in doing so at this point in time.
We are currently not planning any updates or sequels to Into the Breach, our current focus is on support and the Linux port.

FTL was designed as a focused, single-player experience and there are no plans to extend it to include multiplayer.
Unfortunately, there are no plans for an Android or iPhone port at this point in time. We do, however, have an iPad version available on iTunes.
There are official translations for French, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, German, Polish, Russian, Spanish and Simplified Chinese.
The Advanced Edition came out on April 3rd, 2014. It was a large, free expansion that is now built into every version of FTL. There are no plans for a sequel or any additional updates.
We have no official plans for a Switch port at this time. Playing FTL on a gamepad, or on a small touch screen, is not practical.
